209: Took a Walk...
Writing like a maniac but do I share it?
Been away form here for a bit. Jsut felt I didn’t have the bandwidth and time to be posting so much. I have been writing like a madman, but lately I’ve had so much going on personally, to turn around POST IT is a chore.
I do art for myself. My stories are for me. So when I see the piles of pages and notes and such there ready to go be put up, it’s well…a chore. I dig sharing it and getting responses that what get me to do it, but to actually go about it is like pulling pubic hair out with tweezers: NOT FUN.
Then again when that part of me that get all riled up seeing so much shit work out there, and my stuff not garernering shit, I have to admit, I get a bit antsy. SO I start posting again.
Sometimes it just a sketch I dug I did, but the stories. I don’t know if people will get them. Or do I really car eon top of that.
Either way, stuff is coming.
I’m working on a novel. Yeah, I know, ridiculous; how m asshat do you know that tells you that? Right now, I’m at about 30k words and six chapters. My outline and certain parts are done, but this is maybe halfway through, with a couple of drafts here and there, but it’s coming along. I think in a year or two, it could be done. Yeah, I know I was thinking just that (makes jerking off motion)
I might put the first iteration on here. Thinking that. Yep. Maybe.
Other than that, how are all of you? What are you going on about? I know this election went by, and the asshole won. Let us see if the guy does anything. I’m not too worried about him because he’s such a charlatan. He probably didn’t mean half the shit he said anyway. For us, it’s eye-rolling, but for the world? Sweet Jesus.
No worries about that. You can only go so far. Remember that. You have a particular sphere of influence even as a person, and maybe you care about those you love. Reach out here and there, make sure people are okay, and you’ll be fine. It’s Punk rock time.
My stomach is killing me. I need to see someone about it. Keep doing what you are doing, don’t let anybody fuck with you.
